Sources have told HornedFrogBlitz that Tulane defensive end transfer Devean Deal is expected to arrive on campus on Friday afternoon for an official visit this weekend. The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder had a productive season in 2023, totaling 40 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 4 sacks and 2 forced fumbles in 13 games.

Deal entered the portal last week following the departure of Tulane head coach Willie Fritz to Houston. Since entering the portal, Deal has picked up offers from Houston, Kansas, Purdue, UTEP and TCU. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
