Partnerships with the West Coast Eagles Don’t Change Despite Injury Uncertainty
The West Coast Eagles had a difficult season; they finished last in the league and are currently dealing with a number of player injuries.
One aspect of the team that endures despite the uncertainty surrounding it is its network of devoted corporate sponsors. The Eagles are sponsored by some of Australia’s most recognizable companies, and B&T has summarized them for you in advance of the season’s opening next month!
STARVING JACKS
Since first becoming a sponsor of the West Coast Eagles in 1987, Hungry Jacks has a long history with the team. Their dedication to the team continued until 2011, as evidenced by the fast food chain’s logo being on the team jersey for each of the three premiership victories.
2018 saw Hungry Jacks rejoin the club as a sponsor after a number of years off, and they are still there. When Hungry Jack’s announced its resignation in 2017, West Coas Trevor Nisbett stated, “For 25 years, Hungry Jack’s was a major sponsor of the West Coast Eagles and a critical partner in the formative years, which saw the club become a force in Australian football.”
Hungry Jacks is still a significant sponsor of the team in 2024, and their logo is prominently displayed on the front of the players’ jerseys.
Wrights Communication, which represents Hungry Jacks, was contacted by B&T; however, the team failed to respond in time for the deadline.
The West Coast Eagles have long been favored by ARLTON Carlton breweries. The beverage company has funded a number of club initiatives over the years, and these are anticipated to continue in 2024.
As a more reclusive team, the brand collaborated with the club to launch the Carlton Dry Siren Sessions, which united supporters. This program provided a way for local supporters to cheer on their team while they were traveling. The Sessions include live, loud Eagles games, live DJ sets, and guest appearances and interviews with former Eagles players. For devoted supporters who want to support their team at home, Carlton Draught has also introduced an exclusive line of beer fridges and coolers emblazoned with the West Coast Eagles.
AUDI CENTER PERTH
Since the Eagles and Audi Center Perth first partnered in 2021, the four iconic rings of the automaker have been featured on the team’s on-and off-field gear, including the coach’s and players’ polo shirts and the upper back of the playing jumper.
Although they missed the deadline, Audi was eager to comment on the partnership.
