Duke Basketball: No. 1 Prep Announces Plan for Return Trip to Durham

Longtime Duke basketball fan and target Cooper Flagg will observe the Blue Devils in an official capacity this go-round.

And he’ll soon be returning to Durham, this time for an official visit, his mother told 247Sports’ Travis Branham on Wednesday. His two-day unofficial visit, including the following photo shoot wearing Blue Devil gear inside Cameron Indoor Stadium, was only a few weeks ago:

Note that second-year Blue Devil head coach Jon Scheyer and his powerhouse recruiting team boast all 12 predictions for the Flagg sweepstakes between the Rivals FutureCast, 247Sports Crystal Ball, and On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Yes, it seems Scheyer & Co. should like its chances. However, Duke isn’t the only visit on Flagg’s calendar. As Branham reported, the 6-foot-9, 200-pound phenom also plans to check out Kansas and UConn. Considering they are the two most recent national champions, there’s no reason to rule either out as a legit contender.
