Former Leeds United striker Brian Deane has issued stern criticism for Willy Gnonto following his refusal to play for the club last week.
A lot of happening at Elland Road but not much of it is positive from Daniel Farke’s perspective, as outgoing speculation dominates the discussion.
Willy Gnonto’s name is grabbing a lot of the attention right now after his underhanded antics to bring about a transfer were confirmed by the club.
What has Gnonto done?
After not being named in the squad for the EFL Cup clash last week against Shrewsbury, it was revealed through a club statement on Friday that the Italian had refused to play, and was doing likewise for the trip to Birmingham City at the weekend.
This comes alongside interest and a rejected £15million bid from Everton in the Premier League, while the 19-year-old has reportedly agreed personal terms over a move to Goodison Park.
Since them, Tottenham have been claimed to have registered their interest in signing the attacker from Leeds.
