Can Everton recreate their success from last season by defeating Arsenal at Goodison Park?

Everton’s poor start to the season is unlikely to improve when they visit Arsenal at Goodison Park on Sunday.

Sean Dyche is under early pressure, with the Toffees going winless in their first four Premier League games and scoring only two goals.

Everton have previously defeated Arsenal, but will be wary of the threats posed by visiting attackers given their defensive weakness, which has seen them concede eight goals in four matches.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are seeking to build on their recent 3-1 triumph over Manchester United, in which Declan Rice scored his first goal for the club with a stoppage time winner.

Arsenal’s international players have returned from the international break largely uninjured and raring to go as they try to cut the two-point gap to league leaders Manchester City.

Everton have previously shown to be a difficult opponent for Arsenal and will draw motivation from their shock win over the Gunners in February, but Sky Bet has the visitors as heavy favourites at 4/9 to win.

The hosts have been given an outside chance of pulling off a major upset and are listed at 11/2 to win at home. The draw is priced at 18/5.

Sky Bet odds for Everton v Arsenal
Everton win: 11/2
Arsenal win: 4/9
Draw: 18/5
