Breaking News For Henderson Silver Knights

SAN JOSE, C.A – After their first loss of the season against the Bakersfield Condors, the Silver Knights will take on the San Jose

Barracuda for the second game of their midweek back-to-back. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.

Forward Sheldon Rempal scored the lone goal for Henderson in Tuesday’s contest. The Silver Knights are 2-0-0 against the Barracuda this season after two victories on the team’s opening weekend at home.

BOUNCING BACK

The Silver Knights are looking to get things back on track after a disappointing 5-1 loss in Bakersfield. The team is looking to bring the energy and the discipline that brought them success in their first four games heading into their matchup with the Barracuda.

“I think we just got away from our game a little bit,” Morelli said after practice this morning. “I believe all of the guys are extremely accountable, and we all accept responsibility for our efforts.” We’re all looking forward to making amends, getting back on track, and playing our game in San Jose tonight.”

When fans consider a back-to-back with travel, the term “beneficial” rarely comes to mind. But that’s exactly how Henderson’s players portrayed it this morning, giving them the best chance to right the ship and go back on track.

“I think everyone would agree that it can be nice to get back on track and fix your mistakes really quickly,” Morelli added. “It kind of makes up for some of the bad things that happened yesterday. We just want to get back to that winning brand of hockey.”
