The nominees for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, which honors a player’s commitment to making a difference off the field, were announced on Tuesday.

Each team has one player nominated for the league’s “most prestigious honor.”

“These 32 outstanding men are making a valuable difference in their communities every day and we are proud to celebrate their special gifts and humanitarianism,” Roger Goodell, commissioner of the NFL, stated.

The annual award is part of the NFL Honors ceremony, which will air on CBS on February 8 during Super Bowl week.

A $250,000 payment will be made to the winner’s chosen charity, with each candidate getting monies as well.

Fans can vote on X and participate in the selection process by tweeting #WPMOYChallenge along with the nominee’s last name/X handle, or by voting directly on NFL.com/ManOfTheYear. When two nominations share the same last name, the nominee’s complete name or X handle must be included.

The award, which was founded in 1970, was renamed in 1999 to honor the late Walter Payton. Dak Prescott, Russell Wilson, and Calais Campbell are the three current players who have received the award and wear a special jersey patch to remember it.
