West Ham believes their fresh offer will suffice to win a transfer agreement, as revealed.

West Ham believe their new bid for Man United defender Harry Maguire is enough to convince Man United to sell, sources have told Footbal Insider.

Discussions have been ongoing between the clubs over the England international defender but there has previously been a gap in the valuation between the pair.

The Hammers now have now submitted a new £30million bid, believing it is enough to allow Man United to give Maguire permission to move forward with contract talks with the London club.

The 30-year old is reluctant to leave Old Trafford and is on a very high salary, meaning the London side would have to try and negotiate with him to land his signature.

Scott McTominay is also high on the list of targets for West Ham United and conversations will happen between parties about the Scotland international.

A deal could be done for around £60m to take the two players from Erik Ten Hag’s squad and move them into David Moyes team.

Both players are available for transfer and United are keen to get them off the books as they bring in new signings and build for the upcoming Premier League campaign.

Talks over the United duo are ongoing and will likely become a combined deal for both players with David Moyes a huge fan and pushing for them to join his squad.

Harry Maguire has made 175 appearances for Manchester United since joining from Leicester City in a £80m deal. He has won a single League Cup in his time at Old Trafford.
