Report- Leeds to receive no loan fee from Everton…

Luke Ayling has stated on Instagram that he is ‘gutted’ that Jack Harrison has decided to leave Leeds United and join Everton.

The 26-year-old joined Leeds United in 2018, when the club’s now legendary figure Marcelo Bielsa was in charge, with three loan deals from Manchester City being turned permanent upon promotion to the Premier League.

Jack Harrison was a key figure in Leeds’ return to the big time, including their first campaign where they finished in the Premier League’s top ten.

But, thereafter, the wheels started to fall off at Elland Road, conceding goals galore, which eventually led to Bielsa being sacked.

That road then led to relegation because, whilst Jesse Marsch kept the club up during the season he was appointed, the last campaign was just a pure disaster that led the team back to the Championship.

It has resulted in a number of players, including Harrison now, heading for the exit door, with the player posting a message to fans on Instagram and then getting a response from Luke Ayling in the comments section.

“Gave your all for this club for the five years,” said Ayling. “Gutted to see you go, mate.”

Harrison a top signing for Everton

On a loan deal, the £50k-a-week star (Spotrac) will prove to be a very good signing for an Everton team that avoided relegation at the expense of Leeds last season.

During his years at Leeds, Harrison improved in big ways, especially in the attacking third, as he is a player that Sean Dyche will love.

He will bring reliability to the table and also ensure that he can be trusted when doing his defensive work.
