Shocking: Player revealed Where Leeds finish without him in 23/24 season

Leeds United winger Luis Sinisterra had fans worried this month after it was revealed he was “unavailable” for the trip to Birmingham City, with no reason given for his absence.

The Whites are going to have to be busy in the back end of the summer window if they want to be in any sort of position to push for promotion under Daniel Farke.

Signings are required, therefore, but also some shrewd retentions as well of key players that should be part of the plans at Elland Road.

The Yorkshire Evening Post cleared up worrying reports this week that Feyenoord were looking to sign the Colombian on a loan deal, joining the incredible list of temporary departures from LS11 this summer.

Here, we look at the wages that the winger earns and how much it may cost if Leeds end up letting the winger go this summer…

How much would he cost?

An exact fee is hard to quantify with Sinisterra and an exit, but the above YEP report underlines that he’s a player the 49ers are aiming to keep.

Therefore, it stands to reason that the club would be commanding more than the £20million paid to bring him from Feyenoord in 2022.

If the club aren’t forced into letting him go under specific conditions from a relegation clause, the club should stand their ground.

Where will Leeds finish in 23/24?

How much does Sinisterra earn?

As is the case with every player that was at Leeds last season, Sinisterra’s earnings were subject to a 50% wage cut thanks to relegation from the Premier League.

According to Capology, that means Sinisterra’s weekly wage has dropped from £65,000 to around £32,500-per-week.
