“Agreement practically agreed between Everton and Udinese for a value of around 30 million euros (£25.7m)”

Everton have been desperate for a striker signing in this window and finally it looks like we have got one over the line.

A lot of the summer window has been spent chasing wingers to no avail, while a deal for Che Adams looked close at one point but now looks further away.Everton

It seems that Everton have pivoted instead to Beto who is a long-term target and a deal has now been agreed for the Brazilian to come to Goodison Park and bolster Sean Dyche’s attacking options.

A physical specimen with good speed and a decent eye for goal, he alone won’t solve the lack of prolificness in the squad. But he should be able to bring others into play more and help the team improve in an attacking sense.

Dyche has finally got a striker in, Everton fans can finally celebrate a forward signing and now it’s down to the player to deliver. It’s a big fee but one that was a necessity to get a big deal over the line. Thankfully we’ve done that now.
