Can the Blues finally break through in the Premier League?

Everton finally showed some killer instinct late on Wednesday night after being outplayed and humiliated by the bottom-of-the-table team for a good 60 minutes.

Obviously, the level of opponent makes an exact assessment impossible, but Beto gave Blues fans their first glimpse of a fit and deadly offensive threat in a long time.

So, with zero points and zero goals in the first three Premier League games, can Beto now help the Blues get off to a good start where it counts the most?

And how are the Blues going to line up for this one?

Who’s Gone?
There is some hope on the injury front, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Dwight McNeil returning to squad training this week.

Dyche, on the other hand, advised care with both, particularly DCL. Given the next international break, it seems prudent to give both players an extra couple of weeks to rest and come back to 100% before re-entering the fold.

Jack Harrison and Dele are nearing full fitness and could return soon after the break. Seamus Coleman is still out.

More players left the club, including Alex Iwobi, Tom Cannon, and Neal Maupay, with Demarai Gray and Andre Gomes remaining for the time being.

There were no more inbound players, hence there were no more.

EVERTON SQUAD AVAILABLE VS SHEFF UTD

Keane, Godfrey, Branthwaite, Tarkowski, Mykolenko (DOUBT), Coleman (INJURED), Patterson, and Young are the defenders.

Doucoure, Onana, Gueye, Garner, Onyango, Gomes (DOUBT), Dele (INJURED) are the midfielders.

Gray (DOUBT), McNeil (DOUBT), Danjuma, Dobbin, and Harrison (INJURED) are the wings.

Calvert-Lewin (DOUBT), Beto, and Chermiti are the attackers.

Formation and tactic
Beto will undoubtedly begin this one, right? Right?

Although the Wolves’ performance was adequate, a reshuffle may be in the works for Sheffield.

The main concern will be if Nathan Patterson retains his starting spot despite struggling with form this season. If not, James Garner might drop to right back, allowing Lewis Dobbin to preserve his spot despite an egg at Doncaster. If Patterson stays, Garner will play on the right side of midfield, with Danjuma on the left.

Patterson, I believe, would be moved if the Blues had other wingers available. But, with few options, he’ll most likely stay put for the time being. Gueye, Doucoure, and Onana are in the center.

Beto is on top.
