According to Football Insider, ex-Leeds United assistant manager Karl Robinson is the favorite for the Fleetwood Town position.
Fleetwood Town parted ways with Scott Brown over the weekend. He had presided over five defeats in the first six games of the League One season, prompting the club’s leadership to consider hiring a new manager.
A well-known personality has emerged as the leading candidate for the role at Highbury Stadium.
According to Football Insider, the currently unemployed Karl Robinson is the favourite for the Fleetwood Town manager’s job. The 42-year-old has extensive EFL experience but is now unemployed after leaving Leeds United in June.
He was only at the Whites for a few months, serving as assistant manager with Sam Allardyce as they were relegated from the Premier League earlier this year. Robinson, on the other hand, may be in line for a return to the top spot as he leads the race for the Cod Army role.
