Former player believes Liverpool ‘should have paid’ for ‘burning’ star
Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has hinted he may have tried to influence the club to sign Jude Bellingham while the England international was at Borussia Dortmund.
Bellingham has joined Real Madrid and he has played brilliantly for the Spanish club so far.

The talented young midfielder was linked with Liverpool during the summer transfer window but the Red Devils ultimately decided against pursuing him and instead signed Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.

Henderson thinks Bellingham is now booming at his new club and the Reds should have

transfer and they are not ready to break that to sign some players because of the ripple effect.

He revealed to Athletic:
“Maybe not the owner, but you can think of some players that I’ve tried before, especially recently! And looking back now, it’s on fire so (laughs) I thought maybe But after all, they have a structure, a plan, and if it doesn’t fit within that framework, they won’t change it, because it’s pervasive. ”

It’s no secret that Liverpool have a rigid structure and they have abandoned a number of transfer targets in the past because of that. Meanwhile, Jordan Henderson completed a move to Saudi Arabian club Al Ettifaq earlier this summer and the England international has revealed. that his transfer was not motivated by money. He also added that the club didn’t really try to convince him to stay after this summer and that ultimately helped him make the decision to leave.

He was an outstanding service to the club during his time at Anfield and he helped them win the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.

Maybe’:The player sold by Liverpool in the summer shows that Jurgen Klopp is happy to see him gone

Ordan Henderson thinks Jurgen Klopp is happy to see him leave Liverpool this summer.

Henderson unexpectedly left Anfield after 12 years of loyal service in July. Having led the team to glory in those eight years, it was a decision few would have thought of.

But according to the player himself, Klopp is fine with a move to Al Ettifaq. Speaking to The Athletic, Henderson said the Liverpool manager is pleased with the summer transfer activity, and has a lot of praise for the Red Devils owner FSG. “I saw Jurgen saying a few days ago that he is really pleased with the transfer window and that he loves his team. said the 33-year-old man. “That tells you the players that have left, maybe he wants to go and the players that come in, maybe he wants to sign.

“Then they [FSG] will have a plan. It’s not like what people say at the last minute, ‘Oh, Jordan’s gone, Fabinho’s gone, Milner’s gone. Always have a plan, always have a strategy, especially with this asset.

“And to be honest, I always felt like they were always in the best interests of the club. They never take money out of the club. They reinvest everything in the club, from the stadium, the training ground to the players. But at the same time, they are also smart in their use of money.

“They are not going to spend an unreasonable fee and salary on the players because that would upset the structure, like what I have done with some players before! They adhered to their principles and it worked.

Klopp pleased with Henderson’s departure
That’s a rather peculiar comment from Henderson when you really think about it. What does he want Jurgen to say? That he was completely frustrated with the business that Liverpool did. What will it look like before a new season?

No, no matter how Klopp feels about Henderson’s departure, he will probably tell Jordan personally. And we don’t think it’s going to be a fun conversation either. There was certainly enough comment from the Reds boss at the time to suggest that was not what he wanted at all.

Although they may see a reduction in game time, Liverpool are still planning the upcoming season with the captain on board. This is something that Henderson himself even openly admitted yesterday.

Henderson talks about a plan, and there is sure to be a plan for every case. But the departure of the England international will not be considered probable. Instead, it just means that Henderson is a bit bitter about his departure. Liverpool give him up, whether they like it or not. Now is the time for the former captain to do the same.
