EFL expert Sam Parkin believes Middlesbrough committed a ‘real robbery’ in signing Lewis O’Brien. The midfielder joined Boro on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest the day before the transfer window closed last week.
O’Brien, a key figure in helping Huddersfield Town reach the Championship play-off final in 2022, was sent straight into the game. The 24-year-old came on as a second-half substitute in a disappointing home defeat to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
