A midfielder for Leicester City, is still there despite not having an agreement to return to the Premier League is…

We predicted that five Leicester City players would leave the team during the transfer period, but they stayed at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester City’s summer was always going to be fascinating when they were demoted from the Premier League.

The best talent was always going to be sought after by premier league clubs, but in the end, many players who you may have assumed would have left the club are still there.

In light of this, we have listed five Leicester City players below who we are surprised stayed with the team this summer.

Let’s get started!

Robert Iversen

Goalkeeper Daniel Iversen was one player whose absence from the team during the summer transfer window was undoubtedly shocking.

It appeared as though the Dane had his chance to build a claim for the first team when he was given a run in the Foxes lineup for their final 12 Premier League games of the previous season.

But it’s obvious that the viewers weren’t persuaded because this summer, new Leicester manager Enzo Maresca hired a fresh number-one goalkeeper.

Furthermore, Jakub Stolarczyk, 22, was chosen for the backup goalkeeping position, leaving Iversen out completely.

Iversen is at best third in the pecking order among the club’s five goalkeepers, making it quite surprising that he has not left.

Darren Ward

Ndidi, Wilfred

Iheanacho Kelechi

Patricia Daka
