‘EVERTON WANTED HIM’: PUNDIT HAILS ATTACKER WITH ‘STRENGTH’ IN THE MIDST OF A JANUARY MOVE

Andy Walker has questioned whether Che Adams will leave Southampton during the January transfer window following his unsuccessful summer move to Sean Dyche’s Everton.

The Celtic veteran praised the hard-hitting striker for how brilliantly he leads the line for Scotland, who are on the verge of qualifying for Euro 2024.
Che Adams was relegated with Southampton last season after scoring only five goals, and Walker said on Go Radio that Everton ‘wanted’ to recruit the English-born winger.

In the end, the struggling Toffees added Beto to their roster after acquiring him from Serie A club Udinese.

And, despite having played 124 Premier League games, including those with teammates such as James Ward-Prowse and Romeo Lavia who have since left, Adams remains optimistic.

Adams is too good for the Championship but not for the Premier League.
The 27-year-old is a great example of a player who is too good for the Championship but can’t manage to break into the Premier League.Adams scored 12 goals in his previous two seasons in England’s top division, but he already has three in four Championship games this season. And this is after only one game has been started.

Whatever Southampton does this season, it would not be surprising if Adams scores 20 or more goals.
