Leicester City’s Conor Coady, Tom Cannon, and Dennis Praet have all been injured ahead of their trip to Southampton.
Conor Coady might be named in a Leicester City team for the first time at Southampton on Friday night after recuperating from a fractured foot.

Coady is yet to play in a competitive match since joining City for £7.5 million from Wolves after sustaining an injury in pre-season training that was aggravated in a behind-closed-doors friendly against OH Leuven.

While he was not expected to be ready until the end of September, the center-back returned to training last week and might possibly be included in the squad for Friday’s trip to St Mary’s.
Although he is not yet fully healthy, Enzo Maresca has stated that his significance to the squad means he might be on the bench when City face their Championship promotion rivals.
“He has trained with us for the last few days,” Maresca revealed during a press briefing on Thursday. “He started to get better, really terrific. Tom Cannon is dealing with some issues. “I’m not sure (how long Cannon will be out).”

Russell Martin provides an update on Jan Bednarek’s injury for the Leicester City match.
Southampton welcomes Leicester City to St Mary’s Stadium on Friday night, with both teams eager to rebound from recent Championship defeats. Southampton manager Russell Martin says it’s uncertain if centre-back Jan Bednarek will be available to play Leicester City on Friday night.

The seasoned defender was hurt during the first half of Poland’s game against Albania on Sunday, raising concerns among Southampton supporters that he might be absent for the Foxes’ visit.

However, Martin told reporters on Thursday afternoon that the injury was not severe and that the club hoped the 27-year-old, who has started every game for Saints this season, would be available.

“Janny B is going to be touch and go,” the Saints manager added. “It’s nothing serious, but we hope he can be involved tomorrow, and we believe he can.”

Martin, though, told reporters on Thursday that the injury was not serious and that the club believed the 27-year-old, who has started every game for Saints this season, would be available.

“Janny B is going to be touch and go,” warned the Saints boss. “It’s nothing serious, but we hope he can be involved tomorrow, and we believe he can.”

Southampton are anticipated to be without Juan Larios and Ross Stewart for the visit of Leicester City, as both are currently recovering from long-term injuries.
