BBC;Wolver attention was to signed a superstar for 21 million pounds.

Wolves’ £21 million bid may have dashed Juventus’ chances of acquiring star Habib Diarra, but their £21 million bid may have dashed Juventus’ dreams of signing the Strasbourg player as well.

Strasbourg president Marc Keller confessed in the closing 24 hours of the summer window that he had rejected a 25 million euro deal for one of France’s most promising young players.

“I can confirm that we have received an official offer for Habib Diarra from Wolverhampton Wanderers.” I graciously declined. “Habib will not leave,” Keller told Alsace’s Dernières Nouvelles.

“I’ve said it from the beginning: our strategy is to build a competitive squad while also planning for the future.” Habib is a young man who attends the Racing Mutest Academy. He is aware that he is one of the guys on whom we rely.”
Wolves, at the at least, may bring Juventus with them.
Wolves may lose out on Habib Diarra, but Juventus may as well.
According to Rai Play reporter Marco Conteiro, the Serie A giants are also great admirers of the all-action 19-year-old. However, without the perks of European football, Juve may struggle to even match Wolves’ price, much alone entice Strasbourg to sell.

“Are Juventus near Diarra?” “No, not even close,” Conteiro clarifies. “He’s one of the names they’re looking into.”

“However, there is an issue. There is an issue because Juventus is not in the Champions League this season. Wolverhampton Wanderers offered Strasbourg 25 million euros.

“These are big numbers for the Bianconeri.”

Potential alternative for Paul Pogba
Juventus were always going to prioritize bringing in a young, athletic central midfielder this summer, and their drive to do so will be heightened if Paul Pogba is given a lengthy doping penalty (Sky Sports).

Wolves, however, made up for the heartbreak of failing to attract Diarra away from Strasbourg by signing his teammate on deadline day, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, one of Europe’s most in-form midfielders.
