I’m Concerned About Everton’s Survival – Former Premier League Player

Former striker Clinton Morrison has expressed concern over Everton’s chances of remaining in the Premier League this season, believing that the Toffees’ home play will determine their fate.

Everton has faced relegation in prior seasons and only narrowly avoided relegation last season.

Everton have yet to win a Premier League game this season, and have only picked up one point from four games.

Morrison feels Everton will have a difficult relegation battle this season and is concerned about their chances of staying up.

He acknowledged to like their new summer addition Beto and believes that Everton’s home form will ultimately determine their future.

“I think it will be a struggle for the likes of Luton Town and Sheffield United; they always knew it would be a struggle coming up to a hard league,” Morrison said on BBC Radio 5 live.

“It’s difficult even for Everton, who I’m concerned about.”

“They require Dominic Calvert-Lewin to be fit.

“I like Beto’s signing; I like him, but I’m concerned about Everton.”

“I am concerned for Everton, but I believe their home form will determine [their fate].”

Everton are in the bottom half of the league table and will face Arsenal at Goodison Park on Sunday.
