Everton takeover news as David Ornstein discusses 777 Partners’ ambitions for ‘constant dialogue’
According to David Ornstein, 777 Partners intends to continue a “continuous dialogue” with Everton after making a “significant loan” to the team.

On Monday (18 September), the journalist revealed for The Athletic that the club’s prospective new owners had paid a payment to the Toffees for tens of millions of pounds.

According to the club’s official website (15 September), the US investment group has agreed to buy out Farhad Moshiri’s entire ownership in the club.

“The U.S.-based vehicle intends to maintain a continuous dialogue with Everton while waiting to learn if its acquisition will be allowed to proceed,” Ornstein writes for The Athletic.

“777 is likely to provide some expertise from its multi-club model to Everton while also serving as an observer on the board of directors.”

“On behalf of 777, Everton have communicated to their fan advisory board and shareholders association that the prospective new owners will meet and engage with them as well as the wider fanbase.”

These are exciting times.

Things are moving swiftly behind the scenes at Everton, who are currently in severe need of the loan.

Their financial difficulties are fairly clear, and these challenges have led to dire times on the field in recent seasons.

Everton takeover reports disputed amid 'serious' 777 Partners news

Sean Dyche was brought in to help calm the ship and eventually turn things around, but it appears like the manager will need a lot of time to accomplish those goals. The goals, on the other hand, may be greatly aided by this potential loan from the club’s new prospective partners.

To say the least, it’s an interesting moment to be an Everton supporter, with fans in for a roller-coaster ride over the next few years.

The money will be used to help with short-term working capital requirements and the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium project, rather than bringing in new players, which is a disappointment for Toffees fans.

In other Everton news, a pundit lambasted the Toffees live on talkSPORT as a “absolute mess” accusation was made.
