Expert: ‘Robust’ Everton ace recovers quickly after ligament damage…

Dr. Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has joined us as an exclusive columnist. He’ll be sharing his thoughts on Everton’s injury situation every week…

According to Dr. Rajpal Brar, Everton forward Dwight McNeil has healed fast from an ankle injury and is set to play against Arsenal.

According to the injury specialist, Sean Dyche’s words regarding the English winger indicate that he regards him as a strong player.

Given the club’s injury crisis this early in the season, that has undoubtedly aided his recovery and return to action for the Toffees.

Brar, a physical therapist and sports scientist, told Goodison News exclusively about his situation:

“I took Dyche’s comments to mean McNeil is a relatively healthy and fit player, which certainly helps with recovery.”

“Dyche then went on to say that Mcneil would be out for weeks rather than days due to ankle ligament damage, so he wasn’t sugarcoating the situation.”

“It appears that he recovered quickly and well, and he played a few minutes before the international break.”

“He’s now fit and is likely to play against Arsenal.”

Dyche revealed in August that McNeil does not get hurt much and that he expects him to recover faster than other players.

It’s safe to assume that’s what happened, and the wide attacker is expected to play against Arsenal, whether from the start or in the second half.

Alex Iwobi and Demarai Gray have both departed Everton, leaving the club short of two wide players as Jack Harrison remains ill.
