UNBELIEVABLE NEWS’: Nottingham Forest have lost another super key

‘He really tried,’ says Norwich manager, who is ‘glad’ to have the 31-year-old Nottingham Forest player.
Norwich City manager David Wagner lauded Nottingham Forest forward Hwang Ui-jo. On transfer deadline day, the South Korean talent joined the Canaries on loan.

The 31-year-old is trying to make his mark on English football. He hasn’t appeared in a competitive game for Forest since joining them from Bordeaux in the summer of 2022.
Hwang was immediately loaned to Olympiacos. A change in manager did not assist his chances of playing regularly, and he returned to his hometown in January to join with FC Seoul.

Now he’ll get an opportunity to excel at Norwich. The Canaries will be hoping to make the play-offs this season.

Wagner, who is thrilled to have signed Hwang, should give him opportunities this season.
“We’re happy to have him because we know there are a lot of games coming up in the next 21 days or so,” he told the Pink Un. “We’ll need everyone who started (on Saturday) and everyone who came off the bench, even the guys who weren’t involved.”It’s never easy for a striker to enter a game like that, but he worked hard to close them down and narrow the spaces.

“Obviously, he had his offensive moments, and while we needed to manage that situation better as a team, it demonstrates how desperate he is to score.”

“He didn’t get much playing time.”

“He hasn’t played much football for his club in the past.” Fortunately, he had some time for South Korea before joining us.”
Wagner praises Hwang upon his relocation from Forest.

The 56-cap star appears to be getting plenty of playing time at Norwich. Hwang has done well to secure another club in England, and he will be eager to show himself.

Wagner is a manager with exceptional man-management abilities. He allows his players to go out and express themselves, which should suit Hwang.

Norwich play Leicester tonight, and Hwang may hope for another chance to shine. However, it appears like he will have to make another appearance from the bench, as Wagner is set to start with alternative options.

Forest will be keeping a careful eye on Hwang while he is in Norwich. The aim is that if he does well at Carrow Road, someone will step in and buy him next summer.
