BBC: GOOD NEWS WREXHAM has sign another talented key

Wrexham and Stockport renew acquaintances in League Two

NEW acquisitions have boosted Wrexham’s chances, but Phil Parkinson commended players who were already at The STóK Cae Ras for stepping up on the club’s return to the Football League.
Although major changes were not required following a record-breaking 2022-23 campaign that resulted in automatic promotion from the National League, the team has been bolstered with the additions of Will Boyle, James McClean, George Evans, Arthur Okonkwo, and Steven Fletcher.

Wrexham head into tomorrow’s game against Stockport County at Edgeley Park on the back of a seven-game undefeated run in League Two, putting the Reds fourth in the league.

With this breakthrough toothbrush, you can whiten your teeth at home in less than 5 minutes.
However, Parkinson feels that the players that helped Wrexham regain their spot in the EFL after a 15-year hiatus, notably this season’s leading scorer Elliot Lee, deserve praise as well.

Wrexham were promoted a year ago after becoming runners-up to Stockport County in a title race that went down to the wire, and Parkinson is looking forward to renewing friends with Dave Challinor’s side.

“It’s good to have rivalries,” said the Reds’ manager, whose squad will be supported by another large crowd in what is expected to be a sell-out.

“We knew our team wasn’t good enough in the months leading up to January.”

“We then made improvements and had a real go at it, giving everything we had, but Stockport probably had a little bit more depth at the time.”

“We got to the summer and discussed how we could improve it with the staff and owners again, and then we got promoted.”

“We are constantly evolving as a team, not just bringing in new players but also working with the ones we have to keep getting better and striving for.”

“When you move up a level as a player, you have to step up or you’ll fall behind, but the players have done that.””Stockport have invested heavily in their squad and improved, but so have we, and I believe that is crucial.”

“The bench is getting stronger and stronger all the time.”
