INJURY UPDATE West Brom star now set to miss training for next 12 weeks………

West Brom striker Daryl Dike’s training comeback date has been announced as part of the latest Carlos Corberan report – Injury Expert
Dr. Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has joined us as an exclusive writer. He’ll be sharing his thoughts on West Brom’s injury issue every week…

Dr Rajpal Bra expects West Brom striker Daryl Dike to return to light training in December following his ACL injury in April 2023.

The injury specialist has responded to Carlos Corberan’s recent statement that he is recuperating well and hopes to return to football.

The US international has not participated in pre-season training or even light exercise in recent weeks since he has not fully healed.
Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, told West Brom News exclusively about Tanaka’s injury:

“His manager stated that he is recovering well from his ACL tear, which likely means that everything is proceeding as expected.”

“I’d anticipate him returning to light training in mid-December and then playing in January.”

“I usually look at eight to nine months as a true barometer of return to pre-injury levels after that.”

“They’ll get him weight bearing as soon as possible to help him regain mobility, strength, and neuromuscular control from basic functions so he can walk and run again.”

“They will then introduce different planes of movement, and progress to more football-like actions.”

Professional football players normally recover from an ACL rupture in seven to nine months.

Thus, based on the timetables, he looks to be developing well and on pace to return as the physios would have like.

It’s critical that he doesn’t rush back since even a little setback might have serious long-term effects.

In other West Brom news, a football specialist has been surprised by behind-the-scenes information revealed at Hawthorns in recent months.
