“I’m pretty sure” – A journalist claims Dyche is now “suddenly” dealing with an unforeseen scenario at Everton.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is currently provoking ‘arguments’ at Goodison Park for Everton.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin of Everton scored off the bench against Brentford at the weekend.

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has given Sean Dyche a selection issue following his goal at the weekend, and writer Paul Brown has revealed to GIVEMESPORT whether he believes he will start against Luton Town.

It was a much-needed win for Dyche’s Toffees against Brentford, and it could have been a long time coming.

Everton news – Up to date
Everton traveled to London on Saturday evening to play Thomas Frank’s Brentford, in a game where the travelling Evertonians could not have expected three points after failing to secure three points all season. The Merseyside team, on the other hand, came away with all three points after an outstanding performance at the Gtech Community Stadium.

In the first half, Abdoulaye Doucoure gave the Toffees the lead, but Mathias Jensen equalized before halftime. In the 67th minute, James Tarkowski slammed home a Dwight McNeil cross from a corner, and Calvert-Lewin sealed the victory after coming off the bench.

Premier League: Everton benefit by unburdening Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Dyche started summer signing Beto as his number nine against Brentford, with Calvert-Lewin settling for a cameo.

Beto has now started three Premier League games in a row, but is yet to score for the club, with the exception of a Carabao Cup goal against Doncaster Rovers. Dyche may have a selection headache now that Calvert-Lewin has struck the back of the net, but Beto is also putting in some impressive performances away from the goal. Dyche has been a fan of starting two out-and-out strikers in the past, particularly during his time at Burnley, so that’s certainly another option for Everton heading into the weekend.

Everton travel to struggling Luton Town, who have yet to win a Premier League game this season, and it might be an ideal occasion for the Blues to display more forward intent and start both Calvert-Lewin and Beto against a mediocre defense. Despite picking up their first point of the season against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, Gary O’Neil’s side was reduced to ten men.

Calvert-Lewin scoring against Brentford will be really beneficial to him – Paul Brown

Calvert-Lewin has had a difficult few years, battling injuries on a regular basis. The England international addressed the media following his goal against Brentford, taking a small dig at a few fans who booed him against Aston Villa in August.

Premier League: Everton benefit by unburdening Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Brown has now stated that Calvert-Lewin will benefit greatly from his goal against Brentford. After excelling in his cameo at the weekend, the journalist believes he might step in and start against Luton Town. In an interview with GIVEMESPORT, he stated…

Will Everton manager Sean Dyche start Calvert-Lewin and Beto together?

Dyche said before the trip to Brentford that a partnership between Beto and Calvert-Lewin may form up front…

“Perhaps, yes. I’ve always preferred to play with two strikers when possible, but it must also suit the rest of the squad.”

Dyche’s objective may be to maintain continuity in the midfield three that worked brilliantly against Brentford. As a result, Everton will have to sacrifice a player in attack, and it is unlikely that both Beto and Calvert-Lewin will start.
