HART, THE AMAZING GOALKEEPER, SIGN LONG TERM CONTRACT WITH EVERTON

Everton has confirmed the acquisition of Libby Hart, a teenage goalkeeper, ahead of the 2019 Barclays Women’s Super League season.

The Blue Girls made the announcement in a recent article on their official club website.

Hart joins Everton after leaving Birmingham City at the end of the season. The 18-year-old was part of the Blues’ academy system. Hart never started a game for Birmingham City, but she did make the bench on a few occasions. Manchester City has also already signed the youngster.

Hart appears to be Everton’s third-choice goalkeeper this season, but she will get valuable experience working alongside Courtney Brosnan and Emily Ramsey on a daily basis.

Everton Sign Goalkeeper Hart

“It’s amazing to be here at Everton,” Hart remarked after joining the club. It’s great to be at a large club in an environment full of international players. My current goal is to gain as much experience as possible.

“Getting my first pro contract at the age of 18 is an incredible feeling, but it’s only the beginning of my journey.” I can’t wait to get started.”

Hart will be eligible for selection in Everton’s matchday squad for Sunday’s Barclays Women’s Super League match at Walton Hall Park against Brighton & Hove Albion.
