The £38 million signing of Mohammed Kudus from Ajax has generated quite a stir in West Ham.
But, since he joined the Hammers last month, David Moyes has been true to form in his management of the Ghanaian star.
The Scot is known for introducing new players gradually, particularly those from other countries.
Before joining West Ham, Kudus shone for Ajax and Ghana.
Many Hammers fans hoped to see him maintain his form in the claret and blue.

Kudus made his debut against Luton Town and has subsequently appeared in Premier League games against Manchester City and Liverpool.
However, he started West Ham’s first European game of the season and scored two goals in a 3-1 victory, the first of which was given to him by UEFA after the game.
Kudus returned to the starting lineup yesterday night in the Carabao Cup third round victory over League One Lincoln.
He came close to scoring and was dubbed the ‘best player on the pitch’ by BBC 5 Live Extra analysts.
However, if statements from Moyes’ assistant Billy McKinlay are to be believed, the wait for Kudus to become a regular in the side will continue.
The West Ham manager has issued a warning to star Kudus about his status in the club, which will irritate many fans.
Kudus, according to the Scot, will be a wonderful player for West Ham in time. But, for the time being, people should temper their expectations and allow Moyes to gradually integrate him into the team.
‘All we have to do is be alert and patient.’
“Mohammed Kudus has settled in really well at the Club, and we can see there is a talented footballer there who cares about his football and wants to come in and contribute,” McKinlay said following West Ham’s win against Lincoln.
“I think we just have to be mindful of the fact that the Premier League is a really tough league, and it’s really difficult to come in and set it alight.”
“We have to be patient with him, but we certainly think he’s going to be a good player for us.”
Kudus’ inclusion as a starter in the Lincoln game suggests that Moyes will retain him on the bench when West Ham host Sheffield United at the London Stadium on Saturday.
Given that he will be abroad at AFCON for five games in the middle of the season, fans are naturally eager to see the Black Stars hero unleashed.
Cynical West Ham fans would argue that Moyes is worried of upsetting people by bringing Kudus into the team.
