West Ham’s £30 million star will be ‘depressed’ with his current role at the London Stadium.

The out-of-favour winger will be concerned about his lack of playing time since the new season began.

West Ham United now have a plethora of offensive prowess to select from, and transfer expert Dean Jones named a player who would be feeling ‘left down’ by his lack of fame time when speaking to GIVEMESPORT.

Because the east London-based firm was astute in its summer recruitment, competition for positions is currently at an all-time high.

West Ham United news – Up to date
Following on from last season’s European triumph, David Moyes and his team will be eager to repeat the experience this time around. Any hopes of that were dashed when their 2022/23 star performer Declan Rice was traded for £105 million to London rivals Arsenal.

Moyes and his team, on the other hand, did not panic and spent well this summer, bringing in Mohammed Kudus, James Ward-Prowse, and Edson Alvarez to bolster their midfield. Because of the former’s versatility to play everywhere in the front line, combined with Lucas Paqueta’s excellent form, opportunities for those on the periphery have been limited.

Algerian forward Said Benrahma, who was a key member of Moyes’ Europa Conference League-winning side last season, has only played 303 minutes of Premier League action since the current season began.

Someone of his caliber will be dissatisfied with his limited playing time and may try to end his spectacular 140-game career with the capital club. Formerly of Brentford, the attacker moved across London in 2020 after contributing 57 goals (30G, 27A) in 94 outings for the Bees.

According to Dean Jones, Benrahma must wait for opportunities under David Moyes.
On the cold-shouldered winger, transfer insider Jones claimed Benrahma has a significant role to play, advising him to make the most of every provided opportunity because they appear to be few and far between. In an interview with GIVEMESPORT, he stated…

Will West Ham sign a new striker in January?
Moyes and his team are still missing a few key pieces to becoming a force to be reckoned with in the English Premier League, most notably a solid center-forward. During the transfer window, journalist Paul Brown told GIVEMESPORT that if West Ham failed to bring in a centre-forward, they would be sorry.

The club spent much of the summer window looking for a replacement for Gianluca Scamacca, who moved Atalanta for £27 million in August but was unable to complete a deal. Youssef En-Nesyri of Sevilla and Morocco was high on their list, and Brown told GIVEMESPORT that West Ham had’missed a trick’ by not going after him. Of course, January is the ideal moment for West Ham’s executives to return to the bargaining table with the Spanish club in order to finalize their striker choices.
