Aston Villa suffers another injury setback.

After Aston Villa’s 6-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion, manager Unai Emery talked to the media regarding Moussa Diaby and Boubacar Kamara’s injuries.

Unai Emery has provided an update on Moussa Diaby and Boubacar Kamara, who were substituted due to injury concerns during Arsenal’s 6-1 hammering of Brighton & Hove Albion.

After playing such an important role in the historic triumph, it was disheartening to see Diaby and Kamara go down with injuries, casting a damper on an otherwise flawless afternoon.

In the post-match press conference, Emery responded, “I think he [Diaby] has some pain.” I believe he will be unavailable for the upcoming matches.

“Kamara, too.” Hopefully not serious [serious]. “We’re hoping, but we’ll have to check,” Emery added.

Villa will be keen for both players to recover fast, as the squad depth has been strained in recent weeks by the ever-increasing fixture congestion.

Both Emiliano Buendia and Tyrone Mings are gone for the season due to major knee injuries, while Alex Moreno is close to returning but not quite fit.

Despite being on the bench against Brighton, Diego Carlos is still coming up to speed, while Timothy Iroegbunam has only recently returned to full training.
