‘The larger teams will be coming in,’ Sky Sports commentator speculates about West Ham Zone transfer exodus.

West Ham United are expected to face a transfer struggle for Jarrod Bowen, with ‘larger teams’ interested.

According to Tony Gale, West Ham will “do really well” to “hold on to” Jarrod Bowen, with “bigger clubs” expected to step in for him within the next year.

The Sky Sports analyst, speaking live on the world feed match commentary on 30 September, dubbed the Irons winger “one of the best in the business” after he shined once again in the 2-0 win over the Blades, and suggested that he could start for England.

Bowen, 26, has been linked to Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp is a fan and may be looking for a replacement for Mohamed Salah, but Gale believes it won’t be only the Reds knocking on the door.

“If he gets a few games in the team, he’ll be a real force for England,” Gale (3.17pm) stated. He’s got a tremendous work rate, a solid work ethic when it comes to defense, and he’s a great all-around player.

“West Ham will do really well maybe to hold on to him, maybe next season I think the bigger clubs will be coming in for him.”

Inevitable

Clearly, clubs with large sums of money are interested in the Irons star, especially given the club’s recent loss of Declan Rice to Arsenal.

Bowen, on the other hand, has been tipped to sign a new deal, and he has lately spoken about how linked to the club he is starting to feel [Vibe with FIVE, 26 September], so it is not a foregone conclusion that he wants to go right away.

Rice, on the other hand, frequently expressed his affection for the club and his desire to depart for Champions League play, which he obtained in a £105 million move across London in July.

The former West Ham captain didn’t even have the issue of not being selected for England when he decided to depart, but if Gareth Southgate continues to choose other possibilities, Bowen’s choice may be influenced.

The likes of Jack Grealish have seen their international prospects strangely improve after leaving an established club for one of the ‘Big Six,’ so that will be a concern if any such clubs make a run at Bowen.

As long as the Hammers sign the former Hull City man to a new contract, they will be able to ensure that any leave is for a significant amount, but the longer he continues to produce at such a high level, the more likely it is that the market for him rises.

In unrelated West Ham news, a senior player has claimed that his poor form last year was due to a lack of “motivation.”
