NSWE support Villa Park reconstruction following £100 million Aston Villa news – Finance Expert

We’re thrilled to welcome football finance specialist Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive contributor; he’ll be providing his thoughts on the most pressing issues at Aston Villa.

Dan Plumley has praised the rebuilding of Villa Park after Aston Villa’s £100 million plans were approved on September 29.

According to Birmingham Live, the repair of the Academy building will begin before the rebuild of the current North Stand.

The finance specialist admitted that investment in infrastructure is now “really important” in football, with the NSWE reportedly fully supporting the proposals.

“In a similar way we’ve spoke about the positive strides West Ham have made, Villa are also in that position of a lot of momentum going behind the club at all angles,” he exclusively stated to Villa News.

“The management, the team appears to be working well; they’ve made some astute signings on the pitch, there’s redevelopment off the pitch, and the director is coming in with a good track record.”

“Infrastructure and investment are very important in football right now, and that can only be seen as a positive, and we know the owners agree.”

“It just seems, at the minute, the club is in a really good spot and looking to kick on.”

The North Stand redevelopment will boost Villa Park’s overall capacity from 42,657 to 50,065 and is scheduled to begin in June 2024 and last until just before the 2026/27 Premier League season.

In other Aston Villa news, after signing off on transfer business, NSWE made yet another wise decision.
