Iling Junior’s Ascension in Italian Football
This season, the 19-year-old has been a crucial member of Juventus’ match-day squad. Iling Junior has made three appearances for the Turin club this season, recording one assist across all competitions.

The brilliant youth has spent his entire Serie A career as a substitute, which explains why he only averages 1.7 tackles, 0.3 shoots, and 0.3 important passes per game. Based on his pass completion rate of 80.6% in the Italian top division (data from whoscored), he has been accurate when dispersing possession in the final third.

His current deal with the Turin club expires in the summer of 2025. As a result, if Everton wants to win the fight for his services next year, they will have to make a good offer.

Everton is one of the clubs hoping to sign Iling Junior: Is He a Future Prospect?
Iling Junior is a good ball dribbler who can make some driving runs with the ball out in wide areas. He can generate odd opportunities for his teammates and shoot the ball with strength from long distance.

The Islington native is primarily a left-sided winger, but he can also play right-wing if his manager requests it. However, he is still in his infancy and will require time to prove his worth at the top level.

Nonetheless, there is no disputing that Iling Junior is a future talent to keep an eye on. As a result, he would be an excellent long-term acquisition for Everton manager Sean Dyche to make next season.

Iling Junior is already good enough to contribute to the Merseyside club’s team. He has the potential to be a long-term success story at Goodison Park if Dyche is ready to be patient with his development.
