Liverpool are ‘on alert’ that they may soon have the opportunity to sign Jarrod Bowen from West Ham United.
The Reds have been connected with Bowen on numerous occasions in recent years, with speculation reigniting recently.
That could be because the 26-year-old is currently in contract negotiations with West Ham. TalkSPORT alleges that negotiations are’moving slowly.’
Bowen’s failure to pledge his future to the Hammers has apparently ‘alerted’ Liverpool to the possibility that he might be on the market.
This is something that the England international’s agents are reportedly eager to promote. Bowen’s advisors are also said to be ‘informed’ that the Reds have identified him as a possible successor for Mohamed Salah. Newcastle United are also rumored to be in the running.
Bowen issues a warning to Liverpool
Whatever your thoughts are on Bowen potentially joining Liverpool, he’s a man in form.
Last weekend, the former Hull City player added to his recent goal at Anfield. This gives him five goals in seven Premier League games this season, one more than he had all of last year.
