After seeing what he saw at the London Stadium lately, a pundit criticizes West Ham United.

Frank McAvennie, a former West Ham United striker, has joined us as an exclusive columnist. He’ll be sharing his thoughts on the key talking points at the London Stadium every week…

West Ham, according to Frank McAvennie, must convert the London Stadium into a “proper football stadium” as soon as possible.

The pundit has compared the club’s home stadium to the stadiums of Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea.

McAvennie also stated that, unlike the London Stadium, Tottenham Hotspur has a decent stadium.

McAvennie told West Ham Zone, “I still think there are big holes in the crowd, and I’d love to get that sorted.” The squad is being organized, and that’s the most important thing, but I’d want to see the stadium get organized in some way, just convert it into a football stadium.

“There are large holes, and there are places where people can go out for lunch and other activities.” That should be reserved for fans. There were tables for lunch against Sheffield United, and you thought to yourself, ‘Really?’

“Insert seats for the fans.” I’m not sure how much it would cost to renovate it into a true football stadium, but it would be fantastic.

“You have all these other clubs with fantastic stadiums, such as Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea.” This is a football stadium. The good news is that these West Ham players have never known anything other than playing at the London Stadium, so they adapt quickly.

“However, it’s difficult for the fans to create an atmosphere there.” They do it, but it’s difficult. To create an atmosphere, everyone must sing, although they are all so far away.”

In other West Ham news, following the current contract news, a talkSPORT journalist made a “very unusual” assertion.
