With Justin Jefferson sidelined with a hamstring injury, the Vikings will rely on their impressive rookie moving forward. Together with T.J. Hockenson and K.J. Osborn and Addison will be central to the Vikings’ passing game during Jefferson’s absence. Kevin O’Connell and Kirk Cousins are among those who are very pleased with what they’ve seen from Addison so far. Cornerback Akayleb Evans, who suffered a knee injury against the Chiefs, was also removed from the injury report. The same goes for outside linebacker Marcus Davenport and safety Lewis Cine. Evans and Davenport are key starters in Brian Flores’ defense, while Cine will likely play only on special teams.
The only player listed on the injury report for the Vikings is running back and kick returner Kene Nwangwu, who is questionable with a back injury. He returned to practice this week and could he activated from injured reserve prior to Sunday’s game. Ty Chandler has returned kickoffs for the Vikings in Nwangwu’s absence. For the Bears, running
backs Khalil Herbert, Roschon Johnson and Travis Homer are all officially out for Sunday’s game. D’Onta Foreman and Darrynton Evans are the team’s only healthy backs. Safety Eddie Jackson and offensive lineman Lucas Patrick are listed as questionable. Thanks for reading.
