WANDERERS will be without Kyle Dempsey for a month after news broke It is believed that this midfielder is playing with a posterior cervical vertebra injury.


Dempsey was injured in August after a heavy challenge with Fleetwood and required painkillers for several weeks.
Scans carried out during the international break discovered a fracture, which immediately ruled him out of upcoming matches against Northampton Town, Wycombe Wanderers and Charlton Athletic, as well as the match at FA Cup with Solihull Moors.

Ian Evatt confirmed this afternoon that the 28-year-old, who is still playing in League One this season, will be absent for at least the next three weeks until his injury heals.
“It’s a credit to Kyle that he wanted to keep playing,” he said. “It shows how much the players, staff and supporters mean to him. This club has supported him and this is their chance to repay him.
“He tried his best under difficult circumstances, he deserves to be honored.


“We know what trauma is now and we can at least address it clearly and move forward.”
“Underneath it all, Demps is playing with it, Dion is playing with him, we’re getting hurt,” he said. “But now Dion is much better. He has recovered well.
