Leicester City’s team is large and deep enough to manage the absence of one or two key players.

Leicester City won their 13th Championship game in 14 games on Saturday, defeating Queens Park Rangers 2-1 at Loftus Road.

The Foxes are leading the Championship table and are expected to break records on their path back to the Premier League this season.

However, Leicester have been dealt a setback in the form of Wilfred Ndidi, who was unable to play at QPR due to an injury.

Leicester manager Enzo Maresca has confessed that the injury is more serious than first feared, but Baraclough insists that the Foxes need not be concerned.

He is clear that they have the squad to deal with injuries, and given their caliber, he does not anticipate Leicester to moan about injuries this season.

“They have a squad capable of dealing with injuries, that’s for sure,” the former Leicester City player stated on the BBC’s When You’re Smiling Podcast.

“I don’t think you’ll hear any wailing from anyone in the camp if they sustain one or two injuries.”

“That happens and every team have got them.”

Leicester City will most likely be without Ndidi when they host Leeds United at the King Power Stadium on Friday night.
