Detroit Lions key player sends clear and sad message to Brown after……….

Donovan Peoples-Jones sends message to Browns after trade The Cleveland Browns shipped Donovan Peoples-Jones at the trade deadline to the Detroit Lions and the receiver had a message for his former team after the move.
Peoples-Jones was a sixth-round pick of the Browns in 2020 and has steadily climbed the depth chart in Cleveland thanks to his solid play.
His best year was in 2022, when he caught 61 passes for 839 yards and three touchdowns.
However, Peoples-Jones has not carved out the same role this season, even though he is among the Browns’ starters.

He was targeted just eight times in the first eight games, hauling in eight catches for 97 yards.

Peoples-Jones held no ill will behind the transaction, with passersby sharing messages for the Browns on social media.
“Cleveland, I want to thank the owners and coaching staff for the great opportunity I have had over the past few years.
I am grateful for every experience, lesson, and time I had during my time in Cleveland,” Peoples-Jones wrote.
“I am grateful for the staff and everyone else in the building that I come into contact with on a daily basis.
I will always love my teammates and I cherish the brotherhood I have developed over the past few years.
Thank you also to the fans who have accepted and supported me since the day I arrived in Cleveland.
I wish the Browns and Cleveland the best as things move forward.

The Browns also praised Peoples-Jones on social media.
“Thank you, DPJ!
The Browns’ official account tweeted
“I appreciate the determination you brought to the field and your reliability as a teammate.
Good luck returning home.
Browns make no additions to roster at trade deadline The Browns have several positions they could address at the trade deadline, including quarterback, with Deshaun Watson’s health posing a significant question mark that is worryingly important.

But the Browns chose to hold out until the trade deadline, with the decision to send Peoples-Jones to Detroit their only transaction.
This earned the team a sixth-round selection.
Optimists would say that means the Browns feel good that Watson can return to the lineup against the Arizona Cardinals this week.
And it also shows that the Browns believe in their team as a whole and don’t feel the need to splash the cash at the trade deadline.

With Peoples-Jones out, rookie Cedric Tillman is expected to get more work.
Tillman has played sparingly this season, but the third-round pick should be around longer alongside Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore.
Browns make notable additions to running back room The Browns didn’t make a trade to bring in a player at the deadline, but they did add a notable name to the running back room in Kenyan Drake.
He was added to the practice squad on Wednesday and has a chance to be placed on the active roster once he gets up to speed on the playbook.
Drake is in his eighth season off the roster.
‘Alabama.

Drake played in 103 games with 44 starts, making 868 carries for 3,866 yards and 33 touchdowns.
Drake appeared in two games for the Ravens this season, notching two receptions for 31 yards.
He was originally a third-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2016.
