Dockers head west, snatching up Delisted free agent Oscar McDonald, a former defender for the Dees and Blues, signed a two-year contract with Fremantle. Oscar McDonald, a former defender for Carlton and Melbourne, has joined FREMANTLE on a two-year contract as a free agent.


As reported on AFL.com.au last week, the Dockers are looking to bolster their defense ahead of next season and attack the 196-cm key defender on the opening day of the non-AFL agency period.
McDonald played 86 AFL games, 81 with Melbourne and five with Carlton, but was ruled out by the Blues at the end of the 2022 season after a complicated back injury.
