Clemson Might Be Getting A Key Player Back for Saturday’s Game Against Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech travels to Clemson this Saturday to face the Tigers

One of the biggest games in the ACC this weekend is between Georgia Tech and Clemson in Death Valley. Both teams come into the game 5-4 and have momentum after big wins on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets followed their big win against North Carolina with a blowout win against Virginia. Brent Key has this team playing well and they are one win away from making a bowl game, something the program has not done since the 2018 season.

Clemson just won a big game against Notre Dame at home and it was a needed victory for the Tigers after frustrating losses to NC State and Miami. Clemson was down a few players in that game, including star running back Will Shipley, but Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney mentioned today when talking with the media that Shipley might be coming back for this weekend’s game against Georgia Tech.

“Unless we have some type of setback or something, we do expect him to get back,” Swinney said.

Shipley is the second-leading rusher for the Tigers this season, tallying 515 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. He is also a threat from the slot and has 20 catches for 120 yards this season.
