Tennessee Titans inactive players: Is Ryan Tannehill or Malik Willis Will Levis’ backup?
Quarterback Ryan Tannehill will be active for the first time since injuring his ankle last month when the Tennessee Titans battle the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
Tannehill is active as the Titans’ backup quarterback behind rookie Will Levis for the Titans (3-6) game against the Jaguars (6-3) at EverBank Stadium (noon, CBS). Malik Willis is inactive as the Titans’ emergency third quarterback. Tannehill hasn’t played since Oct. 15 when he injured his ankle. Levis has started each game since his injury.
In addition to Willis, the Titans will be without three starters. Offensive lineman Andre Dillard, cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting, and receiver Treylon Burks are all inactive with injuries. After missing last week’s game, guard Daniel Brunskill is active. Recently-acquired offensive lineman Calvin Throckmorton is not after the team claimed him on waivers Wednesday evening.
