David Bakhtiari, left tackle for the Green Bay Packers, recently endorsed Julius Peppers’ candidacy for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024.

Green Bay Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari believes Julius Peppers should be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

On Wednesday, David Bakhtiari retweeted a post about Julius Peppers’ semifinalist status for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024. The former stated that Peppers earning a gold jacket and bust in Canton, OH is a foregone conclusion.

Julius Peppers is one of the semifinalists for the Class of 2024. Antonio Gates, Reggie Wayne, Steve Smith, Sr., Rodney Harrison, and Eddie George are among the other semifinalists.

Several Class of 2023 semifinalists return for another shot at Canton. Dwight Freeney, Devin Hester, Patrick Willis, Torry Holt, and Jared Allen are among them.

Julius Peppers was one of the best pass rushers of all time.

From 2002 to 2009, Julius Peppers spent his first eight NFL seasons with the Carolina Panthers. In his last nine seasons in the NFL, he played for the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, and Carolina Panthers.

During his legendary 17-year NFL career, Peppers played both defensive end and linebacker. David Bakhtiari was correct: Peppers’ candidacy appears to be a no-brainer. The latter was named to nine Pro Bowls, four First-Team All-Pro teams, and three Second-Team All-Pro teams.

Julius Peppers is also a member of the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team, the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team, and the Panthers Hall of Honor. On January 24, 2020, he was inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame.

In Peppers’ five years with the team, from 2014 to 2018, the Packers averaged nine wins per year and won two NFC North division titles. He had 719 tackles, 159.5 sacks, 11 interceptions, and 52 forced fumbles in his NFL career.

On February 1, 2019, Julius Peppers announced his retirement from the NFL. He established himself as one of the best pass rushers of his generation.
