Arkansas RB AJ Green enters the transfer portal

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KAIT) – A member of the loaded Razorback running back room is looking for more options. Junior running back AJ Green announced he’s entering the transfer portal, he announced on X.

The Oklahoma native rushed for 312 yards and had 3 total touchdowns this season for the Hogs.

He’s the first-skill position player on offense to hit the portal this offseason.

Malik Chavis has entered the transfer portal with one year to play.

Arkansas defensive back Malik Chavis has announced his intention to enter the transfer portal. The Rison (Ark.) native had five tackles and a sack in seven games this season while battling a hand injury.

Chavis committed to the Razorbacks as a three-star defensive back in the Class of 2019. He was the No. 96 athlete and the No. 866 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite.

Chavis redshirted in 2019 before seeing time in seven games in 2020, where he registered one tackle on the year. He played in 11 games in 2021, recording 14 tackles and an interception. 2019 (FRESHMAN): Played in two games for the Razorbacks in 2019, seeing time against Mississippi State (Nov. 2) and Western Kentucky (Nov. 9) … Totaled 38 plays as a freshman, seeing 21 lined up defensively and 17 on Arkansas’ various special teams units, according to Pro Football Focus … Recorded two tackles, with a solo stop against the Bulldogs.
