Elite Top-50 Athlete Efrem White Announces Commitment To Florida State

The Seminoles have already established one of the top 2026 classes in the country with the addition of another elite prospect.

Florida State’s coaching staff has been building success on multiple recruiting fronts on the back of a successful 2023 campaign. From the moment they arrived in Tallahassee, head coach Mike Norvell and his array of assistants have displayed the ability to focus on the present while always holding a plan in place for the future.

On Tuesday afternoon, top 50 prospect and four-star 2026 athlete Efrem White announced on social media that he was committing to the Seminoles. White chose Florida State over a list of nearly 20 offers that included programs such as Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky Miami, NC State, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee, and others.

White picked up a scholarship from Florida State in December of 2022. Since then, he’s been in Tallahassee four times and also watched the Seminoles take down LSU in Orlando during the season opener. White was in Doak Campbell Stadium to view wins over Duke and Miami. That’s more than double the amount of trips he’s taken to any other program in the same time frame.

The Florida native is coming off a sophomore season where he caught 22 passes for 308 yards and two touchdowns on offense while racking up 23 tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, one interception, and seven pass deflections on defense. White was a teammate of current FSU wide receiver Vandrevius Jacobs at Vero Beach High School.
