Saints QB Derek Carr was not on the injury report, and he says he’s feeling better this week

One notable name was not listed on the New Orleans Saints’ first injury report of the week: Quarterback Derek Carr.

Carr was limited in practice all of last week by a concussion, plus shoulder and rib injuries. He confirmed after the game that, in addition to his nagging shoulder injury and multiple concussions, he’d also fractured three ribs this season.

He said he is still undergoing some treatment, but otherwise was not limited at all by the injuries.

“There was no reaggravations, so that was nice,” Carr said. “First time in a minute I didn’t land on a shoulder, so that was good. I needed that. I feel better at this time this week than I did last week.”
