Tennessee Volunteers Week 7 injury report: Updates on Joe Milton III, Bru McCoy, and more
The No. 19 Tennessee Volunteers are set to host the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday, Oct. 14 in Week 7.
Tennessee is 4-1 to begin the season and are coming off their bye week which allowed some players to take rest and get healthy. However, ahead of their matchup with the Aggies, some players are still dealing with injuries.

Tennessee Volunteers Injury Report Week 7
The Tennessee Volunteers have seven players on the injury report ahead of their Week 7 game against the Texas A&M Aggies.
Wide receiver Bru McCoy is out for the season with an ankle injury. Running back DeSean Bishop remains on the injury report, as too, does wide receiver Dont’e Thornton Jr.
Defensively, cornerback Christian Charles and linebacker Kwauze Garland are among the defenders on the injury report.
Joe Milton III’s injury update
Joe Milton III will be the Tennessee Volunteers starting quarterback on Saturday as he is completely healthy.
Bru McCoy’s injury update
Bru McCoy will be out for the season due to an ankle injury. He underwent surgery to repair a right ankle fracture.
DeSean Bishop’s injury update
DeSean Bishop is a freshman running back who will be out of the lineup on Saturday due to an ankle injury. He’s expected to be out until mid-to-late October, so any week he could be back in the lineup.
Andrej Karic’s injury update
Offensive lineman Andrej Karic missed the last game due to an unspecified injury. Yet, even with the bye week, Karic is listed as questionable ahead of Saturday’s matchup.
Dont’e Thornton Jr.’s injury update
Dont’e Thornton Jr. is listed as probable ahead of the Week 7 matchup against Texas A&M. It’s expected he will be back in the lineup which will be a big boost to the receiving core, especially with McCoy out.
