Deal Confirmed: Auburn Tigers just completed the signing of a young star

Kansas DL Gage Keys Signs With Auburn Football The Tigers have landed a transfer defensive lineman.

Auburn has signed their second transfer commitment of the 2024 cycle.

Gage Keys, a defensive lineman from Kansas, has signed to Auburn, per his social media. Keys spent three seasons with the Minnesota Golden Gophers before transferring to play for the Jayhawks.

In his lone season with Kansas, the 6-foot-5, 280-pound lineman recorded 21 total tackles. As a high school prospect, Keys was the No. 32 defensive end and the No. 20 player in the state of Ohio.

Keys is Auburn’s second transfer of the 2024 cycle, following Georgia State wide receiver Robert Lewis.

Lewis, a former three-star prospect, made the Third-Team All-Sun Belt in 2023 after collecting 70 receptions for 877 yards and seven receiving touchdowns. Lewis’ best performance of the season came early against Charlotte, where the 5-foot-11 wideout hauled in six passes for 220 yards and two scores.

The Tigers are looking to improve their receiver play in 2024. Having already earned the signing of five-stars Cam Coleman and Perry Thompson, four-stars Malcolm Simmons and Bryce Cain, and now Georgia State transfer Robert Lewis, the corps is already trending towards taking a step forward under Hugh Freeze next season.

Keys will also help the Tigers improve their defensive line play, which lacked pressure at times last season.
