WHAT WE KNOW:
Barnett believes in K-State and showed a level of loyalty that’s often lost in today’s recruiting age. A young man of character who says what he means and means what he says, the quarterback always praised the program’s support and belief in its players. Despite a chance to walk out the door after Klein’s exit, Barnett reaffirmed his commitment and that’s something fans won’t soon forget.

WHAT WE DON’T:
Just how good is Barnett? And to be clear, we aren’t questioning his talent but more so if he’s talented enough to push the quarterback job sooner than later. Barnett’s accolades are jaw dropping and his film backs those numbers up. A foot injury in his state championship winning performance this month will be an offseason setback, sure, but when healthy is this gun slinger the type to not only apply heat on the backup position but perhaps the starting role as well?
