7 Cincinnati Bengals players (and coaches) that won’t be back in 2024

Report: Chris Evans Won’t Play in Bengals’ Matchup With Ravens Due to Hamstring Injury

Cincinnati is hoping to improve to 1-1 on Sunday.

CINCINNATI — Bengals running back Chris Evans isn’t expected to play in Sunday’s matchup with the Ravens due to a hamstring injury according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

The third-year back had two carries for 12 yards and one reception last week against the Browns.

With Evans out, that means rookie running back Chase Brown will be active for the first time in his NFL career. Joe Mixon will be the lead back and Trayveon Williams will likely be trusted as the passing down back.

Will Brown get carries? Will they simply lean more on Mixon? Those are some questions that we’ll get the answer to during the game.
